His early work centred on the design and construction of innovative yacht and powerboat builds, a period that developed his technical mastery and set the stage for a long and diverse career. Over time, Paul expanded into leading large-scale marine and commercial projects, confidently managing everything from bespoke one-off assignments to highly complex programmes exceeding $1 million in value.
Paul’s continued success is rooted in qualities that are essential for high-level delivery: exceptional organisation, strong commercial awareness, unwavering self-motivation, and a practical confidence in his own capabilities. His ability to bring structure, clarity, and leadership to challenging environments has earned him the trust of clients across industries. Working alongside him is Amy, whose decade of experience in the construction and composite sectors brings both complementary skills and fresh perspective to the business.
Having spent seven years collaborating closely with Paul, she has developed a deep understanding of the demands of complex projects and the importance of adaptable, well-coordinated management. Amy is particularly skilled in navigating multi-stage workflows, coordinating diverse teams, and maintaining the level of focus required for smooth project execution.
Beyond her technical and organisational strengths, Amy is a strong believer in the power of communication and relationship-building. The SCCS Team
By his own admission, Paul’s journey over the last few decades has been an exciting, ‘sometimes challenging but never too daunting’ experience. Throughout his 40+ years in the wider construction industry his motivation to deliver amazing results has been driven by raw passion and the overwhelming desire to succeed.
It all started in the early 1980’s, a fully qualified Shipwright with a career foundation built with various tenures amongst mainly prominent UK power boat and yacht builders. His early hands-on experience rapidly evolved into managing new builds, refits, and refurbishments of marine craft worldwide. Most notably from the mid 1990’s developing a strong presence in the Middle East, initially overseeing various powerboat projects before transitioning into commercial composite manufacturing -successfully delivering both factory and site-based projects under strict timelines and within aggressive contractual boundaries.
By 2010 Paul’s ever growing portfolio expanded into sales management, primarily representing far eastern manufactured products to multiple gulf region contractors while based in Dubai, UAE. This role rapidly matured into a senior international sales management position for a major UK-based composite supplier, overseeing global accounts and ensuring the customers’ expectations were fully satisfied.
With nearly a decade of experience in the construction and composite industries, Amy has a deep understanding of operational expertise, supply chain management, and international logistics. Over the past seven years, she has worked closely alongside Paul, supporting and managing projects that demand precision, adaptability, and a strategic approach to complex challenges.
Amy is a strong advocate for the importance of client relationships, recognising them as a cornerstone of long-term business success. She holds a passion for aligning likeminded businesses, supporting collaboration that shares success and long-term growth. She values transparency, integrity, and open communication as essential principles in all client engagements.
Her career has taken her across diverse markets and regions, shaping a strong foundation in global shipping logistics, negotiation, and account management. Amy takes pride in a hands-on, solutions-driven approach -resolving challenges with clarity and ensuring outcomes that are both practical and aligned with client goals.
